Sunlight and Vastu-VII

The selection of color and materials can reduce the effect of solar heating to some extent. The greatest source of heat gain can be the solar radiation entering through a window. This could in fact, increase the indoor temperature for above the door temperature, even in moderate climates. Because once the radiation heat has entered through a window it is trapped inside the building. There are four methods available to control solar heat through windows are:-
1. Orientation and size of window.
2. Internal blinds and curtains.
3. Special glasses.
4.Shading devices.
We can control the solar heat to avoid skin problems, sunburn etc. All these are the deciding factors for a good architect knowing Vastu.
